Shrine Of Christs Passion Marian Wayside Shrine Sanctity Of Life Shrine

An interactive half-mile winding pathway that allows you to journey through the Passion of Christ as never before.

After learning in 1940 that the statue atop Chicago's Board of Trade building was not the Virgin Mary, nine-year-old Carl Demma promised to build a statue "big enough for all of Chicago to see her." More than 50 years later, he realized his dream. Visit the statue that faith built.

The Sanctity of Life shrine features a black tombstone in honor of the unborn and a bronze statue of Jesus with tears running down His face, holding an unborn baby.
